This is a video of Durham, North Carolina’s infamous Norfolk Southern–Gregson Street Overpass (aka Can Opener Bridge, previous wrecks HERE) claiming its latest victim, an overheight towable RV. First it shears one of the rooftop AC units off before the entire RV gets stuck. It’s crazy how nonchalantly people crash into that thing, even with the ‘OVERHEIGHT MUST TURN’ warning sign and automatic red light. If I’m driving anything taller than a go-kart I’m super cautious. So cautious I don’t even feel comfortable driving. Even the sky is too low for me most days.
