IS THAT YOU, LORD?!
‘Doomsday’ Cloud Spotted Over Sydney, Australia

This is a short video of a ‘doomsday’ cloud that was spotted over Sydney, Australia following a storm. Quick, go buy up all the bottled water and toilet paper!

[It’s] actually a rare scud cloud. A scud cloud typically appears with turbulent weather during the trailing part of a storm. They form when wind causes water vapor or mist to be pushed rapidly through the air, creating streaks or patches. They’re usually gray or white, though, so the one in the video seems to have been unusually dark.

There you have it, just a scud cloud. Of course I already knew it wasn’t a doomsday cloud as soon as I saw it because it isn’t nearly big enough and those would have appeared months ago.
