This is some Ring doorbell cam footage from the frozen tundra of Alaska featuring some rare footage of a moose shedding both its antlers. A lot of people don’t realize this, but moose and elk and deer all shed their antlers every winter (after a drop in testosterone weakens the connective tissue attaching them to their heads) and grow new ones. I like how it gets scared and runs from the antlers afterwards, reminds me of my dog after popping. Whoa, what was that?! Dad — we need to get back home, STAT!
Thanks to my dad, who hasn’t seen any moose, but has quite the collection of spider footage from his doorbell cam.
