Renowned primatologist and anthropologist Jane Goodall has recently been given the Barbie Doll treatment as part of Mattel’s Inspiring Women Series (links to product page). The $35 doll features a young Jane complete with field attire including binoculars and notebook, and chimpanzee David Greybeard. Plus the doll is made from a minimum of 75% recycled plastic (excluding doll head, hair, and chimpanzee). Now hopefully they start making all their toys with recycled plastic.
