Because occasionally (but very, very rarely) hard work and dedication pay off instead of just being a giant waste of time, this is a video of William Landgren showing the incredible progress he made using Blender (a free and open-source 3D computer graphics software toolset) over the course of two years. He starts with a decent looking donut with sprinkles, and ends with a car that’s almost hard to believe isn’t real. Nice job, William. If I made this much improvement with my own drawing skills over the course of the next two years, I might actually produce something my aunt and uncle think is worthy of displaying on the fridge instead of in the trash covered in wine stains and cigarette butts. Pfft, and Harry Potter thought he had it rough. HE KNEW MAGIC.
