Damn you a crazy stick!
New Gigantic Stick Insect Discovered In Rainforests Of Australia

This is a video of a newly discovered stick insect in the tropical rainforests of Queensland, Australia. The Highlands Giant Acrophylla (Acrophylla alta), measures up to 40cm (~16″) long, and appears to be what many would describe as a big no thank you. This particular species lives in the rainforest canopy 30 – 60m (98 – 186ft) high, making it particularly difficult to study, especially if you’re afraid of heights. Which I am. There are very few things in this world that scare me, but heights are one of them. Heights and ghosts, really.
