This is a closeup timelapse video of a praying mantis eating a fly. Please note I used a relatively tame screencap for the photo above but that mantis doesn’t always have the decency to cover it’s face while eating, and it digs into that fly like I would an ice cream cone. Which is to say with reckless abandon. Damn, Mother Nature is WILD. Or at least the Mother Nature on whatever planet praying mantises are from. Same goes for the octopus planet.
