This is a short video capturing some very amateur baseball practice when a ball comes right at the camera and made me duck under my desk. I think part of the reason it’s so surprising is because you can hear the bat make contact, so your brain doesn’t expect the ball to still be coming at you. It is though, it comes right at you just like a fearless New York City subway rat for your pizza. He ate it right in front of me too.
