This is some drone footage of a climber successfully summiting a rocky, snow-covered peak. It’s beautiful, sure, but I’d be lying if I said that looks like a good time to me. That looks cold and dangerous. And while I’m all about danger, I don’t do the cold. I do hot baths and aromatherapy candles. “He can be in there for hours.” Hey, I told you we should have gotten a 2-bathroom.

Because there’s a good reason God gave cats nine lives, this is some night vision security cam footage (presumably set up after a ghost left dirty dishes in the sink) of a cat attempting to leap off a trashcan onto the kitchen counter. Unfortunately for it, it knocks the can over and misses the counter, bringing that vacuum cleaner down with it. The cat then curses and makes a run for the door. Classic cat move right there! Like pooping on the bath rug instead of in the litter box.

Presumably after seeing the Super Mario 64 version of Radiohead’s In Rainbows go triple platinum gum wrapper, this is a video from Youtuber Something Is Real (is it though?) of Nirvana’s Nevermind album recreated using Super Mario 64’s soundfont. It was a good listen. Should have used Toad for the album cover though.

This is an experiment determining once and for all if corgi butts float. The answer? Yes, corgi butts float. Valuable information. I hate to think how many Bothans died to bring us this information, but there’s no question their sacrifice was worth it. Same goes for finding out what all the secret menu items are at In-N-Out.

In a clear case of art imitating my life, this is a video from the Perrotin Gallery in Los Angeles of a kinetic wooden sculpture created by artist Barry McGee repeatedly banging its head against the wall. We’ve all been there. I’m there right now. I don’t do this sort of casually head-banging though, I really go for it. I’m either knocking a hole in the wall or knocking myself out, one or the other, but occasionally both.

This is a video of Polish stunt pilot Lukasz Czepiela landing a specially modified plane (total weight reduced to 940 pounds, main fuel tank moved to rear for harder braking, plus nitrous added for taking off again) on the 87-foot diameter helipad atop the 56-story Burj Al Arab Jumeirah hotel in Dubai (the one that looks like a giant sail). Lukazs practiced the landing over 650 times to make sure he could stop the plane, which requires a minimum of 69 feet to land. That isn’t much room for error. Me? I can land on the length of any sofa. Or a loveseat, although I’ll probably bang my shins then get so pissed I try to destroy it. Just a heads up if I ever crash at your place.
