Thai Bar Band Singer Crushes Cover Of Louis Armstrong’s ‘What A Wonderful World’

Thai Bar Band Singer Crushes Cover Of Louis Armstrong's 'What A Wonderful World'

This is a video from Chiang Mai, Thailand, of a bar band trio absolutely crushing a cover of Louis Armstrong’s ‘What A Wonderful World’. It’s really the singer’s vocals that send the song over the top — if you closed your eyes and couldn’t see who was singing it would be hard to believe it’s not Louis Armstrong. That’s high praise too because I’m a huge Armstrong fan and used to wake up to him every morning in high school thanks to a CD player alarm clock. “What A Wonderful World” was such a great song to start the day too. Now it would be hard not to just wake up and laugh. *pulls covers back over head* Haha, you trippin’, Louis!

Spider-Man Plays The Pizza Song From Spider-Man 2 Video Games With His Webs

Spider-Man Plays The Pizza Song From Spider-Man 2 Video Games With His Webs

This is a video of pianist Vinheteiro (previously) performing the Pizza Theme (one of the best themes of all time) from the Spider-Man 2 video game (that plays during pizza delivery missions), dressed as a jolly Spider-Man and playing the piano with “webs” attached to his hands and feet. Most impressive, and definitely the most internet thing I’ve seen all day. And, if I happen go to bed tonight without seeing anything more internetty than this, I’d be 100% okay with that.

Two Porcupines Successfully Defend Their Babies From A Leopard

Because the circle of life is not always a circle, this is a video captured by Kruger National Park field guide Mfundo Nyambi and a group of tourists featuring two porcupine parents successfully defending their young from a hungry leopard. The leopard gets quilled several times trying to make a move on its would-be dinner, and eventually decides to retreat, but not before briefly eying up the tourists to see if they’d make easier prey. Which they absolutely would have it wasn’t for the SUV they were in, just to be clear.

Rain-Filled Depression In Road Optical Illusion Looks Like Bottomless Pit

Rain-Filled Depression In Road Optical Illusion Looks Like Bottomless Pit

This is a video of a rain-filled depression in the road that, at first glance, appears to be a bottomless pit. At second glance too it also appears to be a pit. Honestly, I’m on glance eight or nine now and I’m still not convinced Australia isn’t down there. Allegedly it’s just an optical illusion though. Still, I wouldn’t take any chances if I were a driver. Oh, who am I kidding, all I do is take chances as a driver, I’d probably try to jump it.

Vacation Mode

Vacation Mode

Hey everyone — I’m on a much needed vacation this week, so posting may be sporadic as the internet here is actually a rusted Chef Boyardee can and a long piece of yarn stretching to the next island. I can’t even see a single tube. I’ll do what I can throughout the week, but will return to our regularly scheduled programming next week, FULL STEAM AHEAD. Okay, half steam ahead, which, let’s not kid ourselves, would still be an improvement. CHOO CHOO!

Microscopic View Of Ballpoint Pen Writing, Drug Capsule Dissolving, And More

This is a video featuring a microscopic view of everyday objects in action, including a ballpoint pen writing, a time release drug capsule dissolving, a lighter being lit, a candle being extinguished, popcorn popping, and salt being shaken from a shaker. And that is ALL. If you were hoping for anything else don’t watch it or you’ll leave disappointed. Just like I did from the local sandwich shop everybody has been raving about. What the hell kind of sandwich shop is closed on Thursdays!
