This is a slow motion clip from a high school basketball game that just keeps getting worse. I’m not sure if God turned the gravity up to 11 or what, but things just keep going wrong. If my kid had been on that team I would have told him it’s time to start taking tennis lessons. And while all the accidental dropping and balls between the legs were great, my favorite was the 3-point airball at the end. That was just, as they say in France, le tits.

This is a short video of an Akita Inu who fell asleep in the rain and left a perfectly dry outline of himself when he woke up. Damn, he didn’t budge an inch while he was asleep! My dogs? They like to kick in their sleep. Specifically, me. I like to pretend it’s so they know I’m still there and didn’t abandon them in the middle of the night, but not so deep down I know it’s payback for not giving them any of my late-night sandwich.

Because why invest in a pair of drywall stilts (besides safety and dependability) when you have a perfectly good stepladder, this is a video of a construction worker finishing a drywall ceiling with a stepladder between his legs, dancing it around the room as he moves from one area to the next. Admittedly, it looks like he knows what he’s doing. Me? There’s no question I would crush my pen1s immediately and require a trip to the emergency room. And between the very bottom rungs, just to be clear.

Red Bull teamed up with the drone experts at Dutch Drone Gods to develop a real missile of a drone that can keep up with F1 cars in order to capture chase footage. Some more info about the project while I repeatedly fly the cheap drone I got for Christmas into the ceiling fan because that’s all I seem capable of:

It took Red Bull and the Dutch Drone Gods over a year to create a drone that can accelerate two times faster than an F1 car, reaching 300 km/h in just 4 seconds with a top speed of over 350 km/h. The development was accelerated by access to know-how and processes of Red Bull Advanced Technologies, a high-performance engineering arm of Oracle Red Bull Racing Formula 1 team.

After some testing, they manage to capture a full lap of Max Verstappen speeding around the Silverstone Grand Prix Circuit in his Red Bull Racing RB20 F1 car, creating the world’s first uninterrupted FPV shot captured by a manually piloted custom built drone. How exciting! Also, does anybody else feel that Red Bull’s constant extremity is ruining regular sports for them? Like I’ll just wait for the Red Bull version.

Because dogs never cease to amaze me (one of mine ate a wooden yardstick yesterday), this is a video of a sharpshooting canine hitting three targets in a row with what appear to be elastic hairbands, using its foot and mouth to launch the projectiles. It manages to hit a balloon and two cans without missing, easily making it the most accurate stormtrooper in the entire Galactic Empire.

This is a first person POV ride down the Jais Sledder desert mountain roller coaster in the United Arab Emirates. The video captures the full experience, including the single rider car’s 7-minute climb to the top, so I embedded the video to start at the actual downhill part at 7:10. Seriously, time is money, and I’m already broke as it is, I don’t have 7 minutes to stare at the toes of some dude’s New Balances. Unless you’re paying me to, in which case you can even take off those Newbies and I’ll draw your toes like one of my French girls.
