Man Sitting On Skateboard Takes Thrill Ride Through Steep Drain Pipe

Man Sitting On Skateboard Takes Thrill Ride Through Steep Drain Pipe

This is a video of “movement artist” ModernTarzan (aka Nicholas Coolridge) taking a break from swinging from the tree tops to ride a skateboard through a sewer pipe, ending in a dry water runoff/makeshift skatepark where a friend tries to matador him with a flannel shirt and everyone cheers like he just landed on the moon. Admittedly, that does look fun. Knowing my luck though, the pipe I’d choose to ride would end at the top of a dam, and I still have a lot of wrongs to right before St. Peter would even consider listening to an appeal.

@moderntarzan This was wiiiillllldddd!!!!! 😱 #freerollercoaster #betterthancoffee ♬ original sound – Nicholas Coolridge💠

RC Car Driver’s Best Drifting Tricks

RC Car Driver's Best Drifting Tricks

This is a compilation video from TikTok/Instagram user RCDriftTok highlighting his best drifting RC car tricks from the past year. There are some impressive feats in there, although they’re all very similar in execution (drift car, hit something with spoiler). Also, anything is possible if you try it a thousand times. I’m not saying that’s what happened here, but at least tens, possibly hundreds. A true testament to perseverance. If I don’t get things right the first time I just bail on the project — one and done, that’s my motto. I’m not a very successful person.

Thanks to JustA, who agrees hitting things with your car is easy, it’s avoiding them that’s the tricky part.

First Person POV Trip Down Insanely Steep Mountain Stairs In India

First Person POV Trip Down Insanely Steep Mountain Stairs In India

This is some first person point of view footage of a trip down the Kalavantin Durg Trek (not to be confused with a Drug Trek, which can be equally dangerous), a set of stone mountain stairs in India that start at an elevation of 2,300-feet and feature a 700-foot sheer drop right in front of you. In the video, it looks like it rained recently so the steps are extra wet. Me? I’m dry as a mummy. I never moisturize because I don’t like the feel of lotion on my skin. Serial killers please take note: I would make a terrible skin suit. Would you take the trip down these stairs? I would not. I occasionally get to fly in my dreams, I really don’t need to accidentally do it in real life.

Nirvana’s ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’ Performed In Classical Latin

Nirvana's 'Smells Like Teen Spirit' Performed In Classical Latin

Proof (albeit not definitive) that tasty jams are tasty no matter what language they’re performed in, this is a video from vocalist Ja Khole Thaisii, who teamed up with bardcore musician Stantough to perform Nirvana’s 1991 banger ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’ with lyrics translated into classical Latin. It still hits. You know, I can still remember when this song first came out. Does that make me old? Yes. Wise? Not in the least. I think I’m actually getting dumber as I age. And the bar was already as low as the final round of a limbo competition, just to be clear.

Vintage Media Fan Finds And Remasters Television Footage Of Original Moon Landing

Vintage Media Fan Finds And Remasters Television Footage Of Original Moon Landing

Youtuber Retrofreak84, who I’m guessing was born in 1984 and is 40 years old this year (now I Just need the city he was born in and first pet’s name and I will become Retrofreak), took a gamble on an eBay listing for a vintage Sony Video Tape for a Heliscan reel to reel recorder that was labeled ‘Man On The Moon I’. What was it? Exactly what it said it was — one hour of the original NBC broadcast of the moon landing from 1969. In the video, Retrofreak takes us through the process of cleaning, digitizing, and restoring the tape to produce the best quality result. “Hard to believe the government has been keeping up this hoax for over 50 years now.” Grandma! “What?” I’m 100% with you, now how about making some of your homemade applesauce?

Star Trek’s Jonathan Frakes (Commander Riker) Slowed Down Sounds Drunk

Star Trek's Jonathan Frakes (Commander Riker) Slowed Down Sounds Drunk

This is a compilation of clips of Jonathan Frakes from the television series Beyond Belief: Fact Or Fiction (but better known as Commander Riker from Star Trek: The Next Generation) that have been slowed down so Jonathan sounds like the village drunk (previously: an edit of him interrogating you). Would I also sound drunk if you slowed my voice down? No, I would just sound normal, because I talk like the Micro Machine guy. I have a lot of energy. “Have you even gotten out of bed today?” Wait — is the weekend over?!
