This is a video of Garrett playing truth-or-drink with his ex-boyfriend Caleb’s mother, Redon, while Caleb drinks on the sideline. The rules are you either have to answer the question on the card or take a shot. Obviously, I would answer nothing and just polish off the bottle because 1) loose lips sink ships, and 2) free booze. I’d almost feel sorry for them asking me to participate, because I’m not even answering my name.

This is a video of a bubble artist (it has to be a real thing) blowing a smoke-filled bubble, then bouncing it on a tennis racquet with a bubble for strings, before encasing it inside that bubble, removing it like separating the yolk from an egg white, and poking a hole in it to drain the smoke. Most impressive, and if I were in charge of planning a children’s birthday party right now, you better believe I’d be booking her. Unfortunately, I haven’t been asked to plan another kid’s party though since the first one. “You booked it at a bar.” And I know not to do that next time! Besides, it’s not like they all got drunk.

After practicing hard all summer long, this is a video of a skateboarder performing a backflip and landing back on his board like he’s walking and chewing gum. That is to say, very easily. “Why is there gum in your hair?” I don’t wanna talk about it.

This is a flight demonstration of a 1:3.5 scale Black Airwolf Bell-222 R/C helicopter. Now that is one big R/C chopper! The absolutely massive unit measures a very respectable 4.25m (14-feet) in length, with a rotor of 3.75m (12.25-feet). Wow. This thing makes me wonder: at what point do you decide, screw it, let’s just build an actual FULL SIZE R/C helicopter and fly around in it? Because I’m really hoping that point is right now.

These are a couple video of Loki, a new ride in the viking themed area at Drayton Manor Resort in Tamworth, UK. The ride, manufactured by Zamperla, is called a Nebulaz, and consists of eight gondolas on the ends of four arms, which swing around horizontal axes in a circular motion while the central tower rotates around itself. They look like they’re going to hit each other! And if I had designed it they almost certainly would be. You should see the coasters I design in RollerCoaster Tycoon. I’ve never had a complaint, or a survivor.

This is a video from a drone with a Superman toy attached that gives the viewer a sense of riding on the Man Of Steel’s back. That’s fun. Would I much rather ride on Falkor’s back? Of course, but beggars can’t be choosers. I mean they can be, but then they probably won’t get as many handouts. Or get to ride on Superman’s back. Or should I say…Peter Parker’s back! No? Wrong guy? Whatever, they both work for newspapers.
