This is a video of a bird snacking on some delicious wasps that decided to build a nest against near a screen door, when the bird decides enough already with the appetizers, it’s time for the entree, and takes off with the entire nest they were building. Granted it isn’t a very big nest, but you don’t see me trying to grab a wasp nest of any size, so it’s still got me on that.

In what is hands down one of the most exciting fireworks displays I’ve ever seen, this is some SimpliSafe home security cam footage of an incident that can only be accurately described as SimpliDangerous. In the video, a mortar firework falls over after being ignited, which then goes off and ignites all the rest of the fireworks stash. I only wish I’d been a neighbor watching this between a crack in my blinds, because that would have been a treat.

This is some security cam footage of a heavy dump truck running over an already compromised roadway and exposing a giant sinkhole. I think it goes without saying, but clearly the mole people have been busy.

This is a video of former English soccer player Jimmy Bullard demonstrating his ability to casually swing a pint glass of beer upside down without spilling any, all thanks to the magic of centripetal force. That is an impressive bar trick. Way more impressive then accidentally throwing the glass through a window and getting banned from the bar. THIS TRICK SHOULD HAVE COME WITH A WARNING LABEL, JIMMY.

This is a video from the sky above Los Angeles of all the illegal fireworks being set off as a plane prepares to land at LAX on the 4th of July. It looks like the apocalypse. And maybe it is. You know, having lived in LA for ten years, I remember those fireworks well. And they’re not just on the 4th either, they’re the entire week leading up to, and away from. It’s like people are just celebrating July.

This is some babycam footage of what sleeping like a baby looks like in real life. It does not look as cool, calm, and comfortable as you might have been led to believe (or not if you’ve already had kids of your own). That baby straddles its mom’s face several times in the night, and she just takes it. And when it’s not doing that, it’s pulling her hair. And this is exactly why I’ll never let my baby sleep in the bed with me. They can sleep in the barn just like my parents made me. I’m kidding, my parents didn’t actually make me sleep in a barn. And I’m not just saying that because my dad is the one who sent me this tip so I know he’ll be reading this, that’s only partly the reason. The other reason is it was really a chicken coop.
