Nirvana Performing In 1989 Before The Release Of Nevermind

This is a full concert video from 1989 of Nirvana opening for fellow Washington-based grunge rock band Tad at Fahrenheit in Issy-les-Moulineaux, France. This was after the release of Nirvana’s first studio album Bleach, but obviously prior to the band’s 1991 Nevermind and subsequent mainstream success. It also features Chad Channing on drums prior to Dave Grohl joining the band in 1990. Nirvana’s setlist with timestamps: “01:33 School 03:21 Scoff 07:55 Love Buzz 10:55 Floyd the Barber 13:23 Dive 17:26 Polly 20:00 Big Cheese 23:50 Spank Thru 26:50 About a Girl 29:26 Immodium (Breed) 33:18 Been a Son 35:38 Stain 38:27 Negative Creep 40:55 Blew.” Wow, that was a whole lot of head banging going on. I only wish I could have been there, although it certainly looks like no place for an 8-year-old.

Awww: Bird Lover’s Solution To Prevent Birds From Flying Into Your Windows

Awww: Bird Lover's Solution To Prevent Birds From Flying Into Your Windows

This is a video of bird lover Alex Sally providing a little trick to help prevent birds from flying into your windows and hurting themselves, or worse. The solution? Using a fine-tipped white pen made for writing on glass to draw vertical lines on a window narrow enough (around 4″) that the birds won’t want to fly through the make-believe gaps. Alex says the lines are so fine they’re barely noticeable to a homeowner (I would argue otherwise based on the view he shows from inside the home), but birds will avoid them. And there you have it! Alternatively, just smash all your windows with a brick and let the wildlife come inside. That’s what I did, and now I’m practically running my own wildlife sanctuary. “Raccoons ran us out of the house.” Honey! “What?” Gaia works in mysterious ways.

And The Father Of The Year Award Goes To…

And The Father Of The Year Award Goes To...

Note: Make sure the video volume is on.

This guy — TikTok user amandaf4338’s husband, who asks his daughter to hold the door open for him while he attempts to bring in all the food in one trip, and proceeds to drop a full drink right in her face, then continues inside with a casual “That’s okay, sorry, accidents happen!” while she takes off crying. Is it even possible to be a better parent? I mean we might as well give this man the Father Of The Year award for 2022 as well because I foresee a lot of accidentally getting left at stores in this girl’s future.

Thanks to JustA, who agrees what is dumping a gatorade cooler on your coach if not an act of love?

Uh-Oh: Guy Hit Water Line Installing Flat Screen Wall Mount

Uh-Oh: Guy Hit Water Line Installing Flat Screen Wall Mount

Making a strong argument for an entertainment stand instead, this is a short video of the aftermath of a man hitting a waste water line while installing a flatscreen television mount. What’s he doing, trying to will the water back into the pipe with a towel? Is that water blue? Is that from a toilet with a 2000 Flushes toilet puck in it? If that’s the case, you should be able to cut the toilet’s water from behind the commode pretty quickly. Otherwise you’re going to need to locate the water main. Alternatively, just start charging admission to your water park.

A Visualization Comparing The Depths Of The Deepest Known Shipwrecks

This is another visualization comparison video from Meta Ball Studios (previously), this time comparing the depths of various known shipwrecks. The most interesting part of the video is at the very end when it zooms out so you can actually see all the wrecks at once. But the deepest wreck of all? “Your life.” It’s like it managed to find its way to the very bottom of the Mariana Trench. It makes the Titanic look like its resting at the bottom of a kiddy pool.

Movie Theater Caught Streaming Movie Through Amazon Prime

Movie Theater Caught Streaming Movie Through Amazon Prime

This is a video from TikTok user Rachel Moore’s local movie theater, which apparently just plays movies using streaming services like Amazon Prime. In this case, you can watch the projectionist searching for the 2018 computer animated version of The Grinch. But, hilariously, when they hit play the app informs them they already have the maximum number of videos already playing, presumably because all the other movies playing in the theater are streaming on the same account. Now that’s how you run a business. Still, if they give me a hard time about openly brining my own candy and booze into the theater I’m threatening to call the authorities.

Apparently our movie theatre runs off fire tv & renting Amazon prime movies 👀😭 ##fyp ##movietheater
