Vegas Mariachi Band Performs Usher's 'Yeah!' At Brunch

This is a short clip of a mariachi band performing during a hotel casino’s brunch service and breaking into Usher’s 2004 banger ‘Yeah!’. Obviously, if I had been there I’d already be six drinks deep and wondering what the hell was going on. So I guess like most of the time, really. Now, put this pitcher of margaritas in your purse and let’s go bet it all on black!

Nervous Squirrels Are Treated To A Deluxe Charcuterie Board

Nervous Squirrels Are Treated To A Deluxe Charcuterie Board

This is a video of a group of skittish squirrels (aren’t they all?) outside the window of appropriately named Youtuber Squirrels at the Window being treated to a fancy charcuterie board covered with various nuts and fruit. That looks nice, although I would be disappointed if I just paid $28 for it at a restaurant. Also, if the person who rents this apartment after the current resident ever wonders why there’s always a gang of squirrels and raccoons loitering right outside their window, this is it.

Students Build Electric Car That Does 0 – 62MPH In 0.956 Seconds, Set World Record

Students Build Electric Car That Does 0 - 62MPH In 0.956 Seconds, Set World Record

A team of speed demon students at the Academic Motorsports Club Zürich and Swiss universities ETH Zürich and the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts have set a new world record for fastest electric vehicle, producing a tiny one-seater that rips from 0 – 62MPH in just 0.956 seconds. The electric motors produce 326HP and the whole thing weighs just over 300 pounds (400 with driver Kate Maggetti), allowing it to reach 62MPH in just 40.3 feet. Damn that’s fast! Way faster than I like to move. I like to take things slow, and I’m not even kissing for a solid two, maybe three years into a relationship.

Thanks to my dad, who also has one of those newfangled electric cars, and that thing can go.

A Stunning Variety Of Tropical Birds Visit Costa Rican Bird Feeder

A Stunning Variety Of Tropical Birds Visit Costa Rican Bird Feeder

This is some footage from a typical morning at a bird feeder located in Nuevo Arenal, Guanacaste, Costa Rica. Visitors include “collared Aracari Toucans, several kinds of woodpeckers, Oropendula, Palm Tanagers, Blue/Gray Tanagers, Baltimore Orioles, Clay-colored Thrush (the national bird of Costa Rica), Red-legged Honeycreepers, Black-Cowled Oriole, Euphonias, a few varieties of hummingbirds, and MORE.” That sure was a colorful bunch, wasn’t it? It’s hard to believe all those brightly colored birds are real. And, who knows, maybe they’re not. I mean with the latest advancements in AI and deepfake technology, this could just be a bunch of squirrels for all we know.

A Drone Tour Inside And Out Of Yankee Stadium

A Drone Tour Inside And Out Of Yankee Stadium

Flown by cinematographer Jay Christensen of JayByrd Films, this is a drone tour of Yankee Stadium, beginning outside the stadium, flying through some of the interior, then out onto the field and into the stands. It was a fun ride, and I did pretend I was making a Death Star trench run when he was flying through the stadium seats. Then I closed my eyes and pretended I was watching a game and eating four Nathan’s Famous hot dogs (one chili cheese, one with mustard, relish, and onions, one with ketchup and mustard, and one dry) and life was good for about 30 seconds.

101 Skydivers Over 60 Link Together To Form Giant Snowflake Formation

These are a couple videos of 101 sexagenarian skydivers (which sounds a lot wilder and sexier until you remember it’s just people over age 60) linking up to form a giant snowflake formation in the sky over California. The group jumped from five separate planes, and had less than a minute to create the formation. That’s particularly impressive considering the speed I see most old people around here move.
