This is an old clip from Japanese variety show Kasou Taishou in which a girl appears to dribble and bounce a basketball, while her human shadow does the same. That’s wild. Almost as wild as Peter Pan’s shadow — that thing has a mind of its own. My shadow? My shadow never does anything exciting, and I rarely even see the thing. “Maybe you should go outside more.” Oh what, and become one of those weirdos who points their bare ass at the sun? No thanks!

This is a video of The Epic Spaceman (aka Toby Lockerbie) trying his best to explain the scale of the Milky Way Galaxy, and our place in it. In order to help our feeble minds, “he shrunk the hazy cluster down to such smaller perspectives as the diameter of the United States, the ridges on a fingertip, and a single electron.” Did I come away with a better understanding of the galaxy? Pfft, I was born in space, I learned everything there was to know about the Milky Way before I could even tie my own space boots. Which, if I’m being completely honest, still give me trouble sometimes. I blame gravity.

This is a video of bartender Jemina demonstrating her skills behind the bar by casually opening one bottle held in place with her neck, then a rapid fire five bottles in her arm quicker than the Flash. Damn! I’d argue the only way you could open a six pack any faster is accidentally dropping it.

This is a video of a construction worker applying cement to a wall too high to reach by hand by just tossing it up there. His aim is impeccable, and if there was a basketball game he wouldn’t have missed a single shot. Still, as impressive as his technique is, I still can’t help but feel that a ladder was the correct answer here.

This is a 4K timelapse video of different foods meeting their hellish ends in a hot oven. The title of the video is ‘PUTTING WEIRD THINGS IN THE OVEN’, but they’re not really weird things, they’re mostly just a bunch of fruits you wouldn’t normally put in an oven in their whole form. Weird things would be sex toys and vintage Ninja Turtle action figures.

Because the internet never sleeps (giving it extra time to relieve itself), this is a video of Youtuber Moonic Productions reimagining Gwen Stefani’s ‘Hollaback Girl’ as a System Of The Down song. It was just about exactly what I expected. Do I wish I could get that two minutes of my life back? I’d say yes, but I know I just would have squandered it watching some other video, so I run the risk of wishing I had THAT two minutes of my life back even more. So I guess I’m fine where I’m at. What can I say, I’m a glass half full kind of guy. Half full of poison, just to be clear.
