This is a video from Lake Tahoe in California of a black bear walking on the frozen lake, the ice cracking and breaking, the bear falling through, then the bear successfully pulling itself out of the water and making its way back to land because it didn’t panic. That’s always rule number one in a situation where panicking is natural: just don’t do it, act cool, calm and collected instead. That’s easy, right? Take me for instance — my office has been on fire for a full five minutes now but you don’t see me running and screaming, do you? No, you don’t. You know what I did instead? “Took your shirt off.” Well it is getting rather toasty in here.
