This is a hype reel for Unitree’s R1 robot, a 4-foot tall (don’t let the perspective fool you) humanoid robot that’s capable, based on what I gathered from the video, of cartwheels, handstands, and a ton of punching and kicking. The R1 starts at $5,900 (options like moveable hands instead of the standard punching fists are extra), has 26 articulated joints, and approximately 1 hour of battery life. Is that enough time to fight all my enemies? Not by several decades.
