Alright guys, that's enough playing Noah's Ark, what the hell are you doing?
Fire Ants Building A Raft Of Themselves And Eggs To Survive Flood

Because nature, uh, finds a way, this is a video of fire ants building a raft out of themselves and their eggs in order to survive flooding. The rafts, which can be assembled in as little as two minutes, consist of the queen’s air bubble trapping eggs on the bottom, and a bunch of interlinked ants. The rafts can stay afloat for up to two weeks while the ants survive on food already in their stomaches. Damn! For reference, I can only survive about an hour and a half with the food inside my stomach before I’m starving again. Do you have any idea how often I wake up at night to eat? I barely sleep!
