Well apparently something, because Icelandic minimalist designers Erla Dögg Ingjaldsdóttir and Tryggvi Thorsteinsson of Minarc have created the HiDDenSit, a kitchen island with stools that appear to be part of the island when they don’t have asses in them. That’s something. And so is the rest of that kitchen. Concrete floors, fireplace, hidden stools, floating stairs — what is this, the kitchen in a supervillain’s evil lair? That space is in desperate need of a ‘Live, Laugh, Love’ sign.
