This is a sweet video of two old friends meeting each other again after decades of not being in contact. Apparently one of their daughters found the other and was able to arrange the meeting. An excerpt:

WOMAN 1: “How ya doin’?”
WOMAN 2:”I do as I please, how do you do?”
WOMAN 1: “I do as I please too.”

Dang, I want to do as I please! These old ladies are doing it up right. Life for me right now is nothing but doing as I displease, and, more often than not, even hate and despise. You, uh, you ladies have room for a Rose in your Golden Girls crew?

Because normal candles aren’t nearly enough of a fire hazard (my past landlords would disagree), this is a video of Evan and Katelyn of appropriately named Youtube channel Evan and Katelyn making and lighting a 63-pound, 1,000 wick candle. The result reminds me of a fire in one of those 55-gallon drums you see the survivors of an apocalypse standing around in movies with blank looks on their faces. So that’s something. Something my girlfriend would totally buy if it was sage & lemongrass scented.

This is a video documenting Youtuber Jake Carlini’s quest to build a pair of roller blades using two kid’s bikes. He starts with the version seen above, which proves impractical and basically immobile, even after lowering the bindings and adding training wheels. He then builds a pair with each skate made from two smaller bikes side-by-side, which proves a much more practical solution. ‘Practical’ being entirely relative here, of course.

Crafted by the very talented artists at NL Studio, this 1/4 scale Thanos Resin Model features a g-string clad Thanos performing a sort of downward dog (actually the Jack-O pose from Guilty Gear) while casting a come-hither glance at the viewer. Did I mention his Infinity Gauntlet lights up? I mean not that it really makes a difference in the purchase decision of someone in the market for a sexy Thanos figure, but it’s a nice touch.

This is a local news report from ABC 7 in Commerce, California (which, just to be clear, is NOT the bridge to any future I want to be a part of) where a driver, despite seeing another car already stalled in the water under an overpass, decides to go for it anyway, immediately stalling his car and having to crawl out of it. What he thought his Ford Taurus had that the abandoned Dodge Charger didn’t, I’m unsure about. Obviously, if he’d been smart he would have tried to get up as much speed as possible and hydroplane across the puddle. That’s what I would have done, but there’s also a reason the next Fast & Furious movie is going to be about me.
