Drone Footage Captures Stunning Sunbow In Sweden

This is a drone video captured by astrophotographer Göran Strand of a sunbow rising over Östersund, Sweden. The sunbow (technically a solar halo) was caused by the sunlight interacting with frozen ice particles in the air, causing the light to be refracted. Crazy, right? Still, I would hate to be the town wizard 8,000 years ago trying to explain that death circle away.

Soccer Goalkeeper Plays Dirty To Prevent Potential Goal

Soccer Goalkeeper Plays Dirty To Prevent Potential Goal

Because by any means necessary, this is a video from a Dutch soccer match in which Feyenoord goalkeeper Justin Bijlow races out of the box to make a tackle against Twente player Virgil Misidjan, sending the ball out of play. Then Virgil, releasing an opportunity for a quick score without Justin in the net, gets ready to throw the ball into play when the goalkeeper grabs a stray ball and throws it on the field, stopping gameplay so he can return to his position. Talk about thinking outside the box, outside the box! Virgil throws the ball at Justin in frustration, and Justin received a yellow card for his actions. The game ended in a 1-1 draw. If Justin had pulled these shenanigans against my team? We would have cleared the bench and started a rumble that made WrestleMania 17 look like a children’s white belt karate exhibition.

Lightning Strikes Truck, Turns Headlights On

Lightning Strikes Truck, Turns Headlights On

This is some security cam footage from Dale Earnheart Jr.’s JR Motorsports in Moorsville, North Carolina that captured Thor throwing a lightning bolt at a truck parked there, causing a shower of sparks and the truck’s headlights to stay on. Unlocked: PERMANENT HIGH BEAMS. Or, who knows, maybe windows that roll themselves down whenever you cut the engine in the rain. Whatever the case, Loki is definitely having a good laugh right now.

Melting Everyday Objects, Viewed In Macro

Melting Everyday Objects, Viewed In Macro

This is a video from Youtuber Macro Room of a bunch of different everyday objects (including an alarm clock, smartphone, keyboard, CD, and dinosaur toy) being melted with a propane torch, viewed UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL. I’ll be honest, it was cool to watch, but in general I don’t like to see things up close and personal, and am generally thankful my vision has gotten a little blurry as I’ve gotten older. Still, if there was ever a video that I wish was available in Smell-O-Vision, this is is.

A Size Comparison Of Objects In The Universe

A Size Comparison Of Objects In The Universe

This is a visualization of the size of various known celestial bodies in the observable universe (all 93 billion light years of it). Surprisingly not included? My girlfriend’s body — which is hands down the most magnificent celestial body in this AND the Star Wars and Marvel universes. Fingers crossed she reads that, because that’ll score me some major brownie points leading up to Valentine’s Day. Now I’m not saying I have a lot of work to do to make up for last year, but it’s not MY fault Elden Ring was scheduled for release on the 25th and I started camping out at GameStop on the 8th.

Youtuber Sets Record For World's Largest Pizza With Insane 132 Foot Pie

Because dream it, and, provided your dream is make the world’s largest pizza and you secured a partnership with Pizza Hut to donate all the ingredients, you can achieve it, this is a video of Youtuber Airrack making the world’s largest pizza. The pie measures 132 feet across and consists of 10,000 pounds of dough, 5,000 pounds of sauce, and 9,000 pounds of cheese, and 68,000 slices (all of which were frozen afterward and donated to local Los Angeles charities). According to the rules, the pizza had to completed within 48 hours to comply with health code standards. Personally, I would have been fine with 96 hours, but that’s just me and I’m always eating spoiled food and get sick a lot.
