This is some recent footage of a recycling truck attempting to do battle with the 11’8″+8″ (technically the 12’4″) ‘Can Opener’ bridge in Durham, North Carolina. I like how the driver thought that there was no question his truck would easily pass under. Like, didn’t even bother slowing down. That’s how I live my life too. All gas, no brakes, and with my copilot Jesus opening the door and diving out into the median when he realizes we’re on a collision course with destiny. “I’m not dying again just for your sins!”
