This is a video of a robotic spy octopus designed to infiltrate the octopus community and learn its secrets providing a real coconut octopus with a coconut half to cap off the end of the bamboo shoot its hiding in. The footage is pretty remarkable, but this is obviously staged reality television. That doesn’t change just how nuts octopuses are though. I mean you don’t even have to stage videos of them, they’re legit aliens. THEY THINK WITH THEIR ARMS. For reference, I only think with my stomach, and right now I’m thinking stale grocery store donuts for lunch.
