This is a video of guitar god Stevie Ray Vaughan performing a guitar switch mid ‘Look At Little Sister’ at an Austin, Texas concert in 1989 after breaking a string, continuing his solo with only six strings, then smoothly making the switch with guitar tech René Martinez like a hot knife through butter. Me? I would have had to stop the music, wait while I got everything readjusted, forgotten what we were even playing, and had to start the whole song over. Despite my last six birthday wishes, there would be no groupies waiting for me in the green room after the concert.
