This is a video from Layton, Utah of a Jeep getting rear-ended onto train tracks with a train approaching. The driver then starts to reverse off the tracks before running into the train crossing arm and deciding it isn’t worth breaking, then exits the vehicle before impact. Now maybe I was raised wrong and don’t have the respect for train crossing arms that I should have, but I would have reversed right through that thing.

Video, which includes footage from onboard the train as the engineer expresses his disappointment with the driver’s decision. And no, the crossing arm doesn’t survive anyways despite the driver’s concern.
