This is a video of 21-year old Dutchman Jarmo Slutter performing his winning seagull imitation at the European Gull Screeching Championship held in Adinkerke, Belgium. Admittedly, he does sound exactly like a bird. The costume certainly doesn’t hurt either. Next year I plan to win the competition with a cleverly hidden recording of a seagull and my lip-synching skills. And if I don’t win I’ll complain the contest is rigged because my performance was actually a real bird I recorded, then get banned from ever competing again, which I probably would have been anyways if they drug test the winner.

Better than I can even sing the song forwards, especially at karaoke night when everyone realizes the song I chose and start throwing bottles.

This is a local news report highlighting the quick thinking and calm under pressure of Michigan 7th grader Dylan Reeves, who was able to stop his school bus after the driver had a medical issue and passed out behind the wheel, leaving the bus rolling into oncoming traffic. Thanks to my dad, who considered being a school bus driver after retirement, but decided to just cruise instead.

This is a video of an adventurous sheep that jumped onto a swing set swing and got stuck. God, I can relate — if I had a nickel for every time I’ve done this, I’d be able to afford the ridiculous electricity bill that comes with a fridge that doesn’t even have doors like the coolers at the grocery store. Also, smart thinking with that ‘Reserved For The Dog’ pillow in the dog’s bed, because I would have totally curled up in there otherwise.
