I’m going to go out on a very short limb here (I’m actually just sitting on a stump) and assume that cheese was far too thick to be fountained. I mean it looks like it has the consistency of an omelet, and when was the last time you saw somebody try to make an omelet fountain? “When you did last weekend.” Haha *scraping egg and diced peppers off bedroom wall* I thought for sure it was going to work this time.

Waking up and getting out of bed: it’s the worst. Enter precious rescue pet rat Bean sleeping in her tissue box and refusing to wake up until caretaker Esther places a bowl of almond slices nearby, at which point Bean immediately stirs and gets up, ready for some treats. Honestly I can’t say I blame her — I refuse to get out of bed for anything but house fires, and even then very reluctantly. ‘But it’s so warm,’ I remember telling my girlfriend as she rolled me off the bed onto the floor.

In don’t you know staring isn’t polite news, this is a video demonstration of a humanoid robot being developed by Disney Research with the intention of building a robot with as life-like a human gaze as possible. Did they succeed? No clue, it’s so disturbing that I really have a hard time looking at it for any longer than a half-second at a time. Also, I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if you could look closely at the robot that you’d learn it’s assembling itself out of actual human body parts and that those teeth and eyeballs are real and I’d watch my face skin if I were you.

Because it’s imperative you actually defend your territory after marking it, this is a video of Charlie the cocker spaniel fearlessly battling a leaf blower. Just look at him charging into battle — he truly is a brave warrior. I think he wins too, provided winning is based on how much of the inside of your mouth you can see in battle. You know my dogs actually do something similar whenever I’m vacuuming, provided running upstairs and hiding under the bed until the vacuum has been off for at least thirty minutes is similar to this, which I think we can all agree it is. I should really get my girlfriend to sew them little knight costumes for their bravery.

Because trying hard and believing yourself is the name of the game, this is a video of New Zealand based Youtuber Liam Thompson attempting to create the world’s largest dry ice bubble. What’s a dry ice bubble? Basically a bubble that fills itself up with the carbon dioxide gas that’s created as its solid form sublimates. How big does he get? As big as you see above. Just look at his face — clearly this guy has never seen a giant dry ice bubble before. You have to play it cool, bro. Me? Pfft, I see giant dry ice bubbles all the time, usually when I’m hanging out with my pals Carl Sagan, Neil deGrasse Tyson, Bill Nye and Stephen Hawking on weekends just doing casual science stuff. “But Carl Sagan and Stephen Hawking are dead.” Riiiiiight. I guess I shouldn’t really expect you to be able to connect the dots considering you’re brain is a broken pencil, but it’s called time travel.
