This is a short video of a man attempting to use a drone to lift a string of Christmas lights to decorate a tree in his yard (although I question how useful it would even be to wrap it like the rest of the tree, on account of all the branches to run into). Unfortunately, the drone isn’t powerful enough to lift the entire string and the weight becomes too much for it to bear, eventually sending it back to earth, entirely defeated. Now I’m all for using technology to make your job easier (I’ve been using AI trained on the brain of a second-year 4th grader to write for some time now), but come on. They’re called ladders bro, they’ve been working great for millennia.
