This is a video of electric bike and quad modder Domo constructing what is allegedly the world’s fastest mobility scooter for his pal Sur Ronster after Sur busted his ankle. The scooter features a Surron Storm Bee 22.5 kW electric dirt bike motor powered by 72-volt batteries, full suspension, and a wheelie bar to prevent the thing from flipping when you gun it. I must have one. After completion, Sur takes the scooter to the mall to remind all the shoppers there that, yes, crazy people are still alive and well.

This is some security cam footage from an automotive shop of a quintet having a discussion about (I assume) what the numbers on the sides of tires mean, when the ground collapses beneath them, sending them all into a pit, with a motorcycle on top of them. And this is how “with a motorcycle on top” came to mean the exact opposite of a cherry on top — something bad happening made even worse by a BONUS bad thing happening.

Crochet artist Nicole Nikolich recently completed this double-sided Windows home screen blanket, with Windows 95 on one side, and Windows 11 on the other. It took Nicole over two months and a respectable 104,800 stitches to complete the 8-pound, 5′ x 3.5′ blanket. And, I think I speak for everyone here when I say I miss Windows 95. Everyone here in this room, just to be clear, and it’s just me and the dog and she keeps farting in her sleep. I have those dreams too.

This is a popcorn-worthy hour long video from Youtuber Izzzyzzz recounting 30 of “the most interesting, bizarre, and crazy moments from the Brony fandom.” I found it…enlightening. Of course I already know about a lot of these because one of my recent roommates was a Brony. I can’t even begin to tell you how many times I accidentally sat on his unicorn horn. More than a few times while he was still wearing it. Dude was king at passing out on the sofa watching cartoons in full regalia.

This is a video of a loving father taking turns giving his whole family the chance to fly, dog and wife included. Then the wife returns the favor, allowing her husband to experience the wind beneath his own wings. That’s sweet. For reference, after watching this video my girlfriend jumped on my back without warning and now I’m waiting to be seen at urgent care. My body made so many cracks and pops the dogs raced under the bed thinking they were fireworks.

This is a video (plus local news report follow up) of ‘The Popcorn Guy’ Jason Grosboll, a concession stand worker who’s been scooping popcorn at the Corpus Christi Century 16 Theatre in Texas for over ten years, and does it IN STYLE. The way he layers the scoops of popcorn and butter — that’s a man who cares about making sure you get the perfect popcorn to butter ratio. I respect that. After all, a job worth doing, is worth doing well — that’s my motto. I just haven’t found any jobs worth doing apparently, even the ones that I thought were.

Thanks to my dad, who agrees a good bucket of popcorn can really make or break a movie.
