This is a video of if-not-already then soon-to-be government watchlister QUINT Builds constructing and demonstrating his knife throwing gun. The gun throws knives like a human (flipping them instead of shooting them straight like a bullet), and uses an infrared laser to calculate target distance and create a throwing solution to accurately stab the target. Impressive! In the video he successfully sticks 10 knives in a row between two targets of different distances. Obviously, I need one of these. Now I know you’re not supposed to bring a knife to a gunfight, but what about a knife throwing gun? I’ll be back as a ghost with the answer!

To celebrate the 35th anniversary of the rickrolling hit (and sell some roadside assistance in the process), Rick Astley teamed up with AAA Insurance to create a scene-for-scene remake of the music video for ‘Never Gonna Give You Up’ as an ad for the insurance giant. This is that video. Wow, is nothing sacred anymore? For shame, AAA, I guess I’ll be thumbing a ride the next time my car breaks down.

I have found a code execution exploit in the original DOS Doom 2 and ported a Chocolate Doom to it. And then Chocolate Heretic.
Attention: This does only work on the original DOS Doom2 version, no GZDoom or other source ports. This is a good thing as you don’t want code execution exploit on modern systems. People would abuse it to spread malicious code.
DOS version is available on Steam and you can use DosBox emulator to run it.
Copy kgdid.wad to the directory where you have doom2.exe and then in DosBox start it with command “doom2 -file kgdid.wad”.
(Copy other files too if you want to try them. Game injection has to be renamed to doomsav4.dsg)

The pinnacle of human gaming achievement: we’ve finally reached it. I’m not going to lie, I thought the view would be a lot more beautiful from up here, but it appears we’re just standing on the seat of a public toilet. Hey — text this number, I could use a good time.

This is a video of a Cheetah family trying to make off with Scottish wildlife videographer Gordon Buchanan’s jacket. Gordon had been following the South African Cheetah family on foot and documenting their lives for the past year, so it makes sense to me why they’d want something to remember him by. Hey — way better your jacket than your femur, Gordon.

Mullets: business up front, party in the rear. Granted I’m not sure exactly what kind of business is up front, but certainly not one I’d ever invest in. These are the finalists from the 2022 Kids Mullet Championship. And what glorious mullets they are. Me? I never had a mullet when I was growing up, but I did have a rat tail (I grew up in Alabama, my actual traced and cut-out silhouette from kindergarten HERE). And I’m fairly certain my mom still has that rat tail in an envelope somewhere. Now, if you’re thinking about making a voodoo doll, forget I mentioned that.
