The Incredibly Unusual Sounds Of A Finnish Willow Grouse

This is a video of a Finnish Willow Grouse (aka Riekko Mukana) making the sounds that it makes. I’ve heard the bird’s vocalization described as “annoying” and “unnerving”, but it’s really just more unusual than anything, not unlike its choice of mascara. Now I’m not saying I’d want to wake up to the sound of one, but I don’t want to wake up to the sound of a rooster crowing either. Honesty, I don’t want to wake up to the sound of any bird, I just want to sleep in until I naturally wake up in time for happy hour.

Finally, The Three Wolf Butt Bedding Set You’ve Always Dreamed Of

Finally, The Three Wolf Butt Bedding Set You've Always Dreamed Of

Because nothing says let’s get under the covers and do the nasty like the sight of a wolf ass trio, the Three Wolves Mooning bedding set available from Cozzyhomes. For sale in twin to king sizes ($50 – $80), the bedding set includes two pillow cases and a duvet cover printed with an image of three wolves mooning, a play on the Three Wolf Moon t-shirt (links to its Wikipedia page, which it actually has) that was so popular itself many moons ago. I think it goes without saying, but you can hardly claim you were ever truly Team Jacob if you don’t own this bedding set and regularly make love on top of it, at other times snarling and fighting over a piece of raw meat with your partner.

Amazing!: Guy Draws Live MIDI Art By Playing The Keyboard

Amazing!: Guy Draws Live MIDI Art By Playing The Keyboard

These are a bunch of very worthwhile videos of musician GLASYS (aka Gil Assayas) creating live MIDI art by pressing the corresponding keys on a keyboard to create different shapes as time passes, with a musical byproduct. It reminded me of the songs created by the MIDI shapes of the United States I posted last week. Was that just last this week? Feels like ages ago. Now do a tasteful nude!

Keep going for Pac-Man, Zelda, Super Mario, Metroid, Pokemon, the Apple logo, a duck, and a skull. They really are all worth checking out, even if he didn’t do the mudflap chick.

Bear Casually Strolls Up To Woman At Motel

Bear Casually Strolls Up To Woman At Motel

This is a video from Gatlinburg, Tennessee of an oblivious woman on her cell phone being followed by a bear outside a motel. After the person filming gets her attention (during which they absentmindedly filmed cars in the parking lot), the woman turns around, sees the bear, and does what so many other people would do in the same situation: starts filming the bear. I would not have done that. Now call me old fashioned, but I’d prefer to leave this world the same way I came into it: without any footage on my cell phone of me getting mauled by a bear.

Awww: Baby Cam Captures Young Son Saying Daddy For The First Time

This is a super sweet video of a baby cam capturing a young boy calling his dad ‘daddy’ for the first time. You can tell the father is absolutely over the moon about it, as well he should be. He even steps on a piece of wooden train track afterwards and it doesn’t even phase him — he’s on Cloud Nine. Me? I’m on Cloud Negative Nine right now because my son just called the milk man daddy for the first time. *shaking head dejectedly* I was wondering why we weren’t just buying it from the grocery store like everyone else.

Glacial Shower Head Adds A Block Of Ice To Your Cold Shower

Glacial Shower Head Adds A Block Of Ice To Your Cold Shower

Because some people are sicker than others, there’s currently an active Kickstarter for the ~$70 Glacial Shower, a shower head that allows you to place a solid block of ice (ice mold included) inside so you can take showers even colder than your cold water alone will allow. I don’t know about you, but my penis is already reaching for the hot water knob just thinking about it.

Problem: Unless you live in Alaska your “Cold Shower” is not that cold, probably just “Cool” or, “Luke Warm.”

Solution: The Solid Block Of ICE inside the Glacial Shower 2 in 1 Head. Add that Solid BLOCK of ICE when you want to feel the full BENEFITS of Ice Chilled Water in your Shower!

I’ll be honest, as a non-athlete the only benefit I can see to taking cold showers is saving on my water bill, because I wouldn’t be taking any more showers. If it’s a cold shower or no shower, I’m just adding another layer of cheap cologne. Then I’d also save on dates because my girlfriend would almost certainly leave me. She already complains about the way I smell and I shower twice a day. Okay, okay — I sit in the shower twice a day, I don’t actually do any soaping or scrubbing.
