I don’t know about you, but I’d tear off one of those legs and gnaw on it like a knight with a turkey leg at the Renaissance Faire. I love the Renaissance Faire. I was even a knight’s squire for the jousting event one year! Unfortunately for him, I have no clue how to saddle a horse and he went down like Humpty Dumpty.

This is a chart created by Genuine Impact detailing the top 10 highest paid actors for a single performance in a movie (with Tom Cruise getting paid $100 million for three separate performances, and Robert Downey Jr., $70 million), including salary and box office royalties (where applicable). Personally, I would argue only four of these performances were actually worth the money, and at least three were straight up rip-offs. Still, it’s crazy to think that even if I lived ten lifetimes I still wouldn’t even come close to earning a fraction of what Harrison Ford did for that turd of a crystal skull.

This is a video of what I assume is a very inexperienced snowboarder just getting absolutely dragged along by a t-bar lift on their way up a hill, sliding off the lift trail and being assaulted by a small tree. Still, I do admire their determination. That is one thing I don’t have. I’m kidding, I put the D in Determination. I also put the D in persisDence and tenaciD.

Because everybody’s idea of a fun weekend with the boys is different, this is a video from Destin of Youtube channel Smarter Every Day (I’m the opposite) getting a group of his buddies together to pit eight different brands of string trimmer line against each other, tournament style. That slow motion footage is wild. Now it makes sense why my ankles hurt so bad after getting hit. “Maybe stop taking the guard off your trimmer.” I can’t help it, I’m a Florida Man at heart.

Using Google’s Frightgeist search trend data, Visual Capitalist created this graphic of the top 27 most searched for Halloween costumes of 2023. And, after a very brief scroll of my Facebook feed from over the weekend, I can confirm that these are, in fact, what people are wearing this year. Although I’d argue Taylor Swift should actually be in the top 10, or I’m friends with an unusually high percentage of adult Swifties.
