Edward Scissorhands’ Son’s Hands-Free Cadillac Super Bowl Commercial

Edward Scissorhands' Son's Hands-Free Cadillac Super Bowl Commercial

How about those Super Bowls, huh? Not really that super. Nobody even managed to bowl three strikes in a row. Even I’ve gotten two before. This is the full version of Cadillac’s Super Bowl ad for their all-electric LYRIQ vehicle, starring Edward Scissorhands’ son Edgar (plus mom Kim, Winona Ryder) and the difficulties he faces in life due to his, you know, having giant scissors for hands. Thankfully the Cadillac LYRIQ has a hands-free Super Cruise feature. Nice, Edgar! High-fi– nevermind.

A Capella Group Performs Windows And iPhone Sound Effects

A Capella Group Performs Windows And iPhone Sound Effects

These are two videos of South Korean a cappella group Maytree performing Windows and iPhone sound effects with nothing but their mouths. Most impressive. For reference, when I was in business school my classmates and I once passed an egg down the line using nothing but spoons in our mouths. I think it was supposed to be a team-building exercise, but apparently we didn’t build a very strong team because those rat bastards all stabbed me in the back at the end of the semester when it was peer evaluation time.

Thanks to my dad, who agrees that just like with duct tape and a little ingenuity, is there anything the human voice can’t do?

Yikes: Sherpas Rescue Everest Climber Dangling Above Crevasse

Yikes: Sherpas Rescue Everest Climber Dangling Above Crevasse

This is a video of a team of sherpas calmly rescuing a Mount Everest climber who falls while crossing a ladder bridge above a crevasse at the Khumbu Icefall. How cool and collected they are — those are definitely the people you want rescuing you from otherwise certain death. Per one Youtube commenter:

The amount of people on that mountain that have no business being there is truly shocking.

I get the desire to climb Everest as a grand personal achievement, but how about starting smaller? Maybe like, finishing all your vegetables so your mom lets you have dessert. I mean that’s an accomplishment too, plus it ends with ice cream and not dying.

Modern Ninja Demonstrates His Nunchuck Skills, Including Throwing And Catching

Modern Ninja Demonstrates His Nunchuck Skills, Including Throwing And Catching

Because ninjas are everywhere, this is a video of a man demonstrating his nunchuck skills in a sort of mashup between nunchucking and baton twirling that features a number of throws and catches. I don’t believe those are traditional nunchuck stills. Oh — Michelangelo is shaking his head no with a piece of pizza in his mouth. Still, would I mess with this man? Depends if he had his nunchucks or the rest of the majorette squad with him. “Would you even if he didn’t?” Probably not, no.

Doorbell Cam Captures Dog Trying To Walk Itself By Biting Its Tail

Doorbell Cam Captures Dog Trying To Walk Itself By Biting Its Tail

Because you never expect all your embarrassing behavior to be caught on a doorbell cam, this is a video of a dog that tries to walk itself by biting its own tail. And I thought my dogs were weirdos! This one definitely has them beat and I have one dog that tries to eat the wind when its breezy out and another that growls at her own farts.

A Baby Yoda Painted Snow Sculpture

A Baby Yoda Painted Snow Sculpture

These are several photos from Rick ‘The Snow Artist’ Horton (you heard any Whos lately?) of Greenfield, Indiana, who recently spent seven hours sculpting and painting this Baby Yoda (Grogu) in his front yard last weekend. And, I think I speak for everyone here when I say that was clearly time well spent. For reference, I have nothing to show for the same seven hour period except an $11.97 pay-per-view bill and empty pizza box.

Keep going for several more shots of the handsome little devil.

Thanks again to MSA, who, for three tips in a day, receives a gold star sticker, which she told me would adorn her wall of gold star stickers, which I assume only exists in her mind.
