Because it was only a short matter of time until Hasbro sniffed out the couple bucks in my wallet, Hasbro Pulse is releasing the Transformers Scooby Doo Mysterious Prime & Automutt ($57 pre-order, ships September 1st). In robot form Mysterious Prime stands approximately 6″ tall and includes interchangeable heads for Fred, Daphne, Velma, and Shaggy. The toy also includes a small ‘Automutt’ Scooby figure (unfortunately, no interchangeable Scrappy-Doo or Old Man Withers head) that transforms from a box of Scooby Snacks. Man… I used to love those 90’s Scooby Doo fruit snacks. I remember growing up I convinced my little sister they were actual dog treats so she wouldn’t eat them. I…underestimated her curiosity. Although she’s eaten her fair share of Pup-Peroni too.
