This is a video of singing bassist Wild Bill joining Postmodern Jukebox to perform a rockabilly ragtime cover of the Bee Gee’s 1977 classic disco banger ‘Stayin’ Alive’. They do a fantastic job, and I closed my eyes and imagined I was in a Wild West saloon listening to it over a dirty glass of hot whiskey. It was appropriate too, because stayin’ alive was the name of the game in the Wild West. It was easy to tell if you were losing because you had just been shot.
