Which was your favorite? Mine was ‘Livin’ On A Prayer’, but that’s because I actually do live on a prayer. I’m kidding, I live in a worn out La-Z-Boy, and I’ve never once in my life prayed for chronic back pain. Well, not for myself, anyways.

This is a video highlighting the guinea pig loving lives of Sophie and Mark Masons Cavies, who care for 150 guinea pigs and compete with one another to see “who gets to be the best with looking after them with love and affection.” As far as competitions go, that’s an admirable one to be in. And squeaky. A typical meal:

On an average feed we’d go through five flat lettuce, 30 tomatoes, six cucumbers, five oranges, eight apples, four pointy cabbage or kale, 16 red peppers, four bunches of parsley, two bags of spinach, and about two and a half kilos of carrots

For reference, on my average feed I’ll go through an entire box of sugary cereal and a half gallon of oat milk. Then I’ll top that off with an extra helping of side-eye from my girlfriend because I’m supposed to be eating healthy and not have bits of Count Chocula dried in my happy trail.

Then it casually comes inside to inspect her cereal bowl (that may not actually be cereal, but if she’s anything like me she just crushed four bowls of Count Chocula back-to-back and has a tummyache now), scaring the bejesus out of her, causing her to knock over her energy drink and scream for her roommate who moved out months ago. Hey, adrenaline makes you do crazy things. Love too. Me? I would have bonded with that hawk over a few bowls of the Count, then trained it to attack all my enemies in the neighborhood. Which is everyone, just to be clear.

Mostly, that it’s a shame my native language isn’t more prevalent anywhere. “And what language would that be?” The language of love. It’s spoken almost entirely nonverbally through sexy eyebrow raises and hip gyrations.

Figuring it still has lives to spare, this is a short video of a clever kitty demonstrating its ability to unplug an automatic food dispenser without the plug falling out of the outlet, then plugging it back in so it dispenses some brown and crunchy. I feel like an automatic food dispenser that dispenses food as soon as it’s powered is a bad design. I mean with as often as the power flickers here, my cat would super fat. I mean my cat is already super fat, but still. I’m kidding, Sir Eatalot is a healthy weight.
