Kallima inachus (aka orange oakleaf, Indian oakleaf, or dead leaf) is a species of butterfly native to Tropical Asia that almost perfectly resembles a dead leaf when its wings are closed. With its wings open though it reveals beautiful oranges and iridescent purple and blue. Mother Nature: she’s a wild one, isn’t she? I’ve seen her drunk before — pure insanity. That’s where spiders and octopuses came from.
