Clearly not heeding my advice that Mario needs a complete character redesign (voice especially) like they did Sonic, Nintendo and Illumination just released a full-length trailer for The Super Mario Bros. Art: it’s everywhere. Except at my friend’s recent gallery show. I’m not sure what that was, but it wasn’t art. This is a video of musician and artist Yohei Kisanuki creating some trippy zoetropic art using a whiteboard and marker atop a spinning potter’s wheel. It was fun to watch.

This is a 3D animation imagining a manufacturing plant where different logos are made. It’s pretty neat. Of course this isn’t how logos are actually made, logos are actually made by graphic designers strung out on coffee in Photoshop the day of their deadline. Or at least in my experience
