The appropriately named Train Mountain in Oregon is the proud operator of the world’s longest model railroad in the world. The railway consists of over 37 miles of track, which accommodates a 1/8th scale electric train with repurposed car seats so you can don your engineer’s hat and greasy overalls and CHOO CHOO to your heart’s content. And my heart has a LOT of CHOO CHOOing to do to be content, just to be clear. Am I going to eat canned beans atop a box car with my hobo friends and watch the sunset? Only if dreams really do come true.
