The brainchild of maker of things Ivan Miranda, this is a giant 3D printed marble clock that tells time using black and white marbles as a dot matrix display. The clock features a marble elevator, at the top of which it uses an array of infrared sensors to determine black from white marbles, and boots a marble if it isn’t the next color it needs to send down the track. Pretty awesome. Could you wear it on your wrist? No. Me? I tell time the old fashioned way: it’s early when the sun rises, it’s like 3:30PM when it gets dark out, and what do I care anyways, I don’t have a job or anywhere to be. Is it November yet? I want to get started making my Christmas list.
