Because Halloween is time for smashing pumpkins (Billy Corgan, let’s ride!), this is a video of hippos at the Cincinnati Zoo chomping pumpkins whole. There’s also some footage of painted dogs (aka African wild dogs, not dogs that have been painted — playing poker or otherwise) enjoying some pumpkin fun. Good times. I mean unless you’re the headless horseman and that hippo just ate your stand-in head. “It took me forever to pick the perfect size!” I imagine him thinking for a split-second before that hippo turned his brain into pie filling.
