This is a video of Konami’s Contra Returns (an updated mobile version of the classic Contra) reimagined in real life by devinsupertramp with a fair amount of production value. I mean this isn’t just some kid running around in the backyard with a broken vacuum for a machine gun yelling ‘UP UP DOWN DOWN LEFT RIGHT LEFT RIGHT B A START’ while his dad mows the lawn around him. Now I’m not saying my performance was Oscar-worthy, but I did pretend all the dog turds the mower spat out were enemy bullets to dodge.
