This is a video of a new Tesla Cybertruck attempting to navigate part of an off-road trail at the Hollister Hills Offroad Recreation Area in California. It does not do great, and almost fishtails its rear end off the course at one point. Of course I’m not sure how many people were actually planning on buying Cybertrucks for off-roading purposes. Or even for hauling things like you would with a traditional truck. I thought it was clear from the moment they were announced that they’re strictly for getting attention. I’ve always felt they look like the DeLorean that might have been if John DeLorean had been into huffing spray paint instead of coke.
