This is a video of Australian swimmer Ariarne Titmus’s coach Dean Boxall going absolutely nuts after her upset gold medal win in the 400-meter freestyle race. And can you blame him? He reminded me of Matthew McConaughey, although the announcers say he reminded them of Doc Brown and Mick Jagger. In an interview Dean says his celebration was actually inspired by the WWF’s Ultimate Warrior, although it’s equally easy to believe his celebration was inspired by a sudden flood of adrenaline in his body and lack of oxygen to his brain, like when I ask my dogs if they want to go to the dog park.
