This is a clip from a recent hard-hitting episode of Inside Edition investigating whether Flex Paste (in Phil Swift’s miraculous Flex Seal family of products) works as well as it does in the television commercials. To determine if it does, the program teamed up with students from the Grove School of Engineering in New York City and chemical engineering professor Raymond Tu to build a boat out of chicken wire and Flex Paste, then try to seal a leaking wine barrel with the stuff, just like in the ads. So — does it hold up to the claims? Yes. Amazingly, for once a product actually does what it’s advertised to. Of course the real test is whether or not it can patch up a relationship, because my girlfriend isn’t talking to me right now.
