As if I needed another reason not to go parasailing (I didn’t), this is a poor quality video from Aqaba, Jordan on the Red Sea of a man getting a piece of his foot bitten off by a shark while waiting for takeoff. According to reports he suffered “several torn tendons, torn flesh, part of the heal severed, and multiple lacerations.” Local authorities are trying to identify what kind of shark it was, although it was very obviously a hungry one. I mean we don’t need to reanimate Jacques Cousteau to solve that mystery.
