This is some dashcam footage from China of a Tesla Model Y about to get t-boned by some oblivious porterhouse making a u-turn, which they narrowly avoid with a quick swerve and stomping on the gas electric. Now that was some quality defensive driving right there. For reference, I would have swerved right into that row of hedges, and probably continued straight into the building. “Sorry, wrong address!” I imagine explaining out the window while trying to reverse out of the hole I made.

Thanks to my dad, who agrees that, like with so many things in life, sometimes you just have to stomp on it.
