This is a video of thrillseeker and pro wingsuiter Luigi Cani using a human slingshot to be launched off the roof of the tallest building in Brazil (the currently under construction Yachthouse Residence Club Towers in the beach resort city of Balneário Camboriú), speeding from 0 to 34MPH in just one second. For reference, it takes my car about two minutes to get up to 30MPH, at which point I have to hold the door closed so it doesn’t come off. My girlfriend won’t even ride with me it’s so scary. Thankfully, I know a guy who will pass my car for inspection even though it’s a death trap. “Let me guess — your girlfriend’s dad.” How did you know?
